Virginia Ann Zigler

Virginia Ann Zigler, age 79, of Janesville passed away on October 6, 2024, in Waukesha, WI. Virginia “Ginny” was born in Janesville on January 2, 1945, the daughter of Orville and Jessie (Grant) Henning.

Ginny grew up in Janesville and graduated from Janesville Senior High School in 1963. She was also a 1966 graduate of the Swedish American Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Rockford, IL. Ginny married Thomas William Zigler on September 9, 1967, in Janesville. Ginny was an x-ray technician in Janesville, including at Mercy Clinic East for 26 years. Ginny and Tom were married for 53 years, raising two sons, Brad and Dan, and living in the Janesville and Milton area. Ginny enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and traveling.

Ginny is survived by sons Brad (Lauren) Zigler of Golden, CO, Dan (Carey) Zigler, of Pewaukee, WI; grandchildren, Alison Zigler, Nolan Zigler, Jillian Zigler; and brother David (Sharon) Henning.

Ginny was preceded in death by her husband Tom; her parents, Orville and Jessie Henning; her brother Robert Henning and her sister Joan Noe.
