Tyler J. Byrd

JANESVILLE - Tyler J. Byrd, age 27, passed away in his home on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born January 20, 1995, in Janesville, the first son of Shawn Wethal and Mark Lewis. Tyler was a well-known jokester with an infectious smile. He had the ability to brighten any room with his presence and was as loyal as they come. Tyler had a huge heart and loved animals and children, especially his nieces, Emilyn Byrd, Mya Zinn, Paryss Wethal, and Rosalia Lewis. He was a proud son, brother, and uncle. Tyler is survived by his parents, Shawn (Eric Godwin) Wethal and Mark (Traci Lewis) Lewis; his siblings, Kianna Byrd, Tiffani Byrd, Dakota Lewis, Kobe Wethal, and Trenton Lewis. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Laurie Adkins; paternal grandparents, Jim and Cindy Lewis; great-grandmother, Norma Jean Granzo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Wethal and Dennis Adkins; and his great-grandmother, Emmy Luebke. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, March 18, 2022, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville. Visitation will be held at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME on Friday, from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A celebration of life will follow the service at Wiggy’s Saloon from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
