Thomas Earl Dahl

Thomas Earl Dahl “Butch” of Janesville passed away on March 18, 2024 at age 70 surrounded by his caring family and friends. Tom was born in Janesville on September 27, 1953, the son of George and Jane (Van Galder) Dahl. He grew up in Janesville and graduated from Craig High School in 1972.

Tom attended American Mechanics Institute (AMI) in Daytona Beach, FL to study motorcycle repair. He was employed by Harder’s Cycle in Janesville until they closed, and then owned and operated his own motorcycle shop, Dahl’s Cycle. Tom attended St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Tom Dahl is survived by his daughter, Sara Dahl; granddaughters, Rilynn and Paisley Dahl; bonus daughter & granddaughter, Tia & Taylor Jones; significant other, Jill Gile; mother of Sara and Tia, Barbara Jones; brothers, Gary (Margaret) Dahl, David (Brenda) Dahl, John (Rhonda) Dahl; sister, Nancy (John) Willger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Jane Dahl; son-in-law Quinn Koch and his sister-in-law Carole Dahl.

Tom’s family wishes to give a special thank you to his neighbors, especially Pat and Jeanne, for all of their care and concern during this time.

Funeral services are at Noon Saturday March 30, 2024 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME,1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Father Rick Heilman will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 29th and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday March 30th at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME
