Theodore E. Panek

Theodore E. Panek, age 90, of Janesville, passed away at his home on November 30, 2019. He was born on March 25, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the son of Louis and Kate (Kieleck) Panek. Theodore grew up in Chicago where he graduated from Lindblom Technical High School. He served in the U.S. Army from November 24, 1950 to November 23, 1952. Theodore married Evelyn Ejka on August 18, 1951. He was employed as a truck driver by Consolidated Freightways and had over 30 years of accident free driving. Theodore resided in Lake Geneva for 20 years prior to moving to Janesville in 2008. Surviving are one daughter, Catherine M. (John) Evans; three grandchildren, Ryan W. (Brittany) Evans, Devon M. Evans, and Jordan J. Evans; and one great-granddaughter, Beatrice A. Evans. Theodore was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Panek on February 27, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers. A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N.
