Sandra Caroline Albrecht of Janesville, WI passed away on June 24, 2024 at Rock Haven at age 82. Sandy, a life-long Janesville resident was born on February 2, 1942, the daughter of Harold and Esther (Hanson) Graves. She graduated from Janesville Senior High School in 1960.
Sandy married Ronald W. Albrecht on May 27, 1961. They have four children, Shelly, Jodi, Chris and Brad. Sandy was employed by Parker Pen Company for 39 years.
Sandy was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards and casino trips with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ron along with her brother and his wife. Most of all she loved spending time up north at the cabin on Solberg Lake, with family and friends. She enjoyed pontoon rides around the lake, and it was never too early for a cocktail on the deck. When home she looked forward to Friday night fish fry at Bazingas with Brian, Stacey and “the girls”.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ron Albrecht; children, Shelly Schwenkner, Jodi (Scott) DeMots, Chris (Ray) Albrecht, Brad (Amy) Albrecht; grandchildren Justin (Brianna) Schwenkner, Tyler (Jedta) Schwenkner, Courtney (Will) Sullivan, Jake DeMots, Lauren (Dakota) Albrecht, Carley (Payton) Albrecht; great-grandchildren, Henley, Harper, Hadley and Russell Schwenkner, Cohen Conwell; sisters-in-law Bonnie Graves and Judy Sebranek; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Dale Graves; sisters Gloria Lagerman and Joanne Fletcher.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Friday, June 28th at the FUNERAL HOME with Rev. David Bergelin officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at Bazingas from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 28th. Memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice in Sandy’s name.
