Robert “Bob” John Beckwith, Jr., age 60 of Janesville, WI, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI at 5:08 pm. He will live on because he was an organ donor. He was the son of Glenda (Holton) Beckwith and Robert J. Beckwith, Sr., born September 30, 1963, in Fort Hood, Texas.
Bob worked at Scharine Group in Whitewater, WI for the past 4 years where he was a welder. He was previously employed by United Alloy, Inc for 8 years and before that at Stoughton Trailers. He did more than just be a welder; he was also one of the employees who could put all the designs together, but he definitely had the talent for welding.
Bob had a love for motorcycles and the open road. It was a yearly thing for him and his love, Brenda, to take a trip on the motorcycle. He loved listening to Bob and Tom in the morning which explains his love for laughter. One thing most people knew about Bob was that he could always make a room full of people laugh and that laughter of his would carry like no other. He brought so much laughter to many. He loved Marvel, he even made his own hammer named Thor. When it came to Marvel, you couldn't get him away from it, or Scooby Doo either. He loved Taz, Godzilla, and the old school ones. He also liked old Kung Fu movies which he would watch anytime. His love for music was very important to him, he played music constantly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Rothenbuehler-Beckwith; his nine children, Felicia Beckwith, Scott Beckwith, Johnathon Beckwith, Robert Beckwith, Kayla Beckwith, Kristina Nelson, Clayton Rothenbuehler, Phil Pope, and Amanda Rothenbuehler; his 35 grandbabies; his siblings, James 'Toby' (Leanna) Beckwith Ohio, Doug (Bobbie Jean) Beckwith, and Denise Curtis; and his nieces and nephew James (Breanne) Beckwith, Angel (Brian) Beckwith, Lisa Curtis, Kaytlin Curtis, and Amelia Beckwith.
