Richard T. Bellomo

Richard Todd Bellomo, age 45, of Janesville passed away at his home on Friday, August 11, 2023. He was born in Janesville on July 18, 1978, the son of Joseph and Linda (Harris) Bellomo. He grew up in Janesville and graduated from Janesville Craig High School in 1996.

Richard was employed by Ryan Central for many years and more recently was employed as a project manager by his family’s construction business.

Richard loved his garden. He was a life-long Packer fan. His passion for fishing had no limits, any species, any place. He also loved to support his sons. Every weekend he would travel to watch his boys at wrestling meets, no matter where they were.

Richard Bellomo is survived by the love of his life, Heather Shetler; his sons, Joey and Andrew Bellomo; his parents, Joseph and Linda Bellomo; brothers, Joe (Misty) Bellomo, Mike (Kelly) Bellomo, and James (Jessica) Bellomo; brothers-in-law, Brian Shetler and Shawn (Satyn) Shetler; mother-in-law, Alice Shetler; grandmothers, Roberta Bellomo and Shirley Gurney; nieces and nephews, Zeke, Evan, Skyler, Cole, Kate, Quinn, Saphire, Devon, and Jade; life-long friends, John Odonell, Travis Custer and Todd Jones.

Richard was preceded in death by his father-in-law, David Shetler; his grandparents, Joseph Bellomo, Todd Harris and Mary Harris; and his uncle, Richard.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 17th at the FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Janesville Craig High School wrestling program.
