Patricia Shuler

JANESVILLE - Patricia Joy (Lueck) Shuler, 94, of Janesville, WI passed away at her home on April 23, 2024. She was born in Janesville on December 8, 1929, the daughter of Edwin and Rosalia (Feirn) Lueck. A life-long Janesville resident, Patricia graduated from Janesville High School in 1947.

Patricia married John Shuler in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1957. Having been widowed so early in her marriage, she became a strong, independent, but kind and caring woman who was left to raise her two daughters, Carolyn and Alysyn with the help of her in-laws. Summer vacations were always a special adventure in their lives.

Patricia worked in the banking industry and was a drive-thru bank teller for Merchants & Savings Bank for many years, later retiring from BMO Harris Bank.

Patricia belonged to many charitable organizations in her lifetime including O.E.S. Chapter #69, Amaranth, True Kindred, White Shrine, and many others. She was a member of the Afton Community Church. She always had a special love for animals, especially her kitties.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Alysyn (Fred) Miller; grandchildren, Tracey (Ginny) Miller, Trisha (Jim) Cole, Tom Miller, Neil Miller, Courtney (Jason) Lou and Donald Lasch III; great-grandchildren, Ally, Anna, Drayton, Breckon, and Emily; great-great-grandson, Harrison; brother-in-law, Carliss (Betty) Shuler; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Carolyn; brother, Warren Lueck; her parents, Edwin and Rosalia Lueck; her in-laws, Frank and Ruth Shuler, Frank and Jean Shuler, Vincent and Marilyn Shuler; nephew, Tom Shuler; and her life friend, Betty Van Galder.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., Friday, April 26th at the funeral home. Pastor Ray Jewell will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Memorial gifts may be made in Pat’s name to Afton Community Church, Afton, WI or O.E.S. Chapter #69, Janesville, WI.
