Norlene Kay Churchill of Janesville, WI passed away at Rock Haven Nursing Home on March 26, 2025 at the age of 84. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 21, 1940, the daughter of Norman and Loraine (Peters) Manske. She grew up in Milwaukee and was married there on August 12, 1967, to James G. Churchill. Norlene was employed as the secretary at First Baptist Church in Janesville for many years and prior to retiring was a sales associate at the Hallmark Store in Janesville. Norlene was a long-time faithful member of First Baptist Church.
Norlene is survived by her daughter, Aimee (Jason) Rebout of Janesville; granddaughters, Olivia Rebout and Sophia Rebout. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Churchill on June 22, 1999. Her parents and her brother, Ned Manske also preceded her in death.
Norlene’s family wishes to extend a grateful thank you to the staff of Rock Haven and Agrace Hospice for their many kindnesses.
An informal gathering for family and friends to meet will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Private burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Online condolences are welcome at www.henkeclarson.com
