Nancy Ann Wieser, 72, of Janesville, WI went to heaven on March 28, 2023. She passed away with all her family by her side after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 8, 1950, the daughter of William and Genevieve Christensen. She graduated from Niles East High School in Skokie, IL, class of 1968. She attended Southern Illinois University. She was a stay-at-home mom and extended her career at Hamilton Sundstrand in Rockford. She had a big heart and was always giving back, including serving on the United Way board. She spread positivity and kindness everywhere she went and everyone that knew her loved her.
When she was not visiting grandkids, watching grandkids various activities or cheering on the Chicago Bears, she enjoyed sewing, biking, kayaking, playing cards, cooking, baking, snuggling her dog Harley, fishing in Minnesota, and entertaining friends and family. She especially loved Christmas, gift giving and having all her family together on that special day.
She survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Jerry; 15 grandchildren, Meredith, Ellie, Jack, Brooke, Clara, Nicholas, and Everett, her three children Amy (Dave) Gusitsch, Kelly (Joe) Mays, and Brian (Desi) Conry, her two brothers Billy Christensen and Charlie Christensen, her husband, Jerry’s wonderful children, James (Andrea) Wieser, Jenny (Allan) Davis, Jeremy (Victoria) Wieser, and Tiffany (Joe) Laufenberg and their grandchildren, Kelton, Jayden, Layton, Weston, Ezra, Angelica, Marquez, Myron. Her parents; sister, Joan; and brother, Jim, preceded her in death.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville, Wis. A celebration of life will follow at 5 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME.
