Michelle Meisner Bush

Michelle Meisner Bush, age 55 of Milton, WI passed away at her home on February 5, 2024. She was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on April 17, 1968, the daughter of La Verne and Judith (Kutz) Meisner. She was raised in Whitewater, WI. She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1986 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UW Whitewater in 1993.

Michelle moved to Milton in 1993. She married John Bush on April 20, 2002. She was currently employed as a caregiver by Visiting Angels.

Michelle always had a passion for creating art and painting. She was active with the Janesville Art League. Michelle has had art showing at the Janesville Performing Art Center. Her paintings have also been featured at TeaLux in Whitewater and Elmside Goods and LAV13 in Milton.

Michelle gained her appreciation for art due to her mother who was an artist as well. Her brother, Daniel is an artist who helped compose music for her father, Verne and brother, Steve who were world known for their Slovenian Style Polka Music.

In addition to her love for painting, Michelle enjoyed music, photography, museums and history but her favorite pastime was being with family and friends.

Michelle is survived by her husband, John Bush; son, Tyler Meisner Bush; daughter, Anna Meisner Bush; brother, Daniel Meisner; She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Steve Meisner.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 401 West Main Street, Whitewater. Pastor Joseph O’Donnell will officiate. Visitation will be at the CHURCH from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19th. Interment will be at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater.
