Mary Tadder, age 71 of Janesville, passed away on February 28, 2024, at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation, Stoughton, WI. She was born in Richland Center, WI on June 10, 1952, the daughter of Lawrence and Bernadine (Schmitz) McKenzie. She graduated from St. Bede’s Priory and High School in Eau Claire, WI.
Mary was married on June 28,1975 to James G. Tadder. She was formerly employed by Rock County and later in the office at General Motors and the city attorney’s office through Manpower.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Mark) Livingston; granddaughter, Ayla Livingston; brothers and sisters, Bill (Prudy) McKenzie, Yvonne (Loren) Lane, Ed McKenzie, Diane (Ron) Fogo, Jerome McKenzie, Ray (Sue) McKenzie, and Leonard McKenzie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Tadder on January 15, 2013. She is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mike McKenzie and Richard McKenzie; sisters, Yvette McKenzie and Cheryl Scheurman; as well as a brother who died in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Rev. Lee A. Meissner will officiate. Entombment will be at a later date in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 15th at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME.
