Margo Jayne Herlitz

Margo Jayne Herlitz, age 70, of Janesville, WI passed away at Mercy Hospital on October 30, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Glen and Patricia (Starkey) Herlitz. She grew up in Milwaukee where she graduated from high school.

Margo had been a Janesville resident since 1984. She married Conrad L. Popp on June 17,2005. She was formerly employed in the office at Bergner’s in Loves Park IL. Margo was an avid card player and enjoyed her trips to the casino.

Margo Herlitz is survived by her husband, Conrad Popp; sisters and brothers, Sherry (Chuck) Burbach, Carla Konopacki, Glen (Jane) Herlitz Jr., Patrick (Diane) Herlitz, Sandra (Larry) Gonwa; step-children, Julie (Paul) Halterman, Barry (Monica) Popp, Dawn (Jim) Willing; step-grandchildren, Alisha, Jason, Amanda, Crystal, Evan; 3 step-greatgrandchildren. Margo’s parents preceded her in death.

Private services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville. Interment will be at a later date in the South Ridge Cemetery, Monroe, Co. WI.
