Margaret Marion Pater

Margaret Marion Pater, 96, of Evansville, WI passed away at Our House Memory Care in Janesville on July 29th, 2019, with her family by her side. Margaret as born on April 29th, 1923 to Arthur and Harriet (née Way) Hansen in Glenville, MN. Margaret married Henry Pater on September 29th, 1946 in Glenville, MN. Margaret was a member of New Life Assembly of God in Janesville and accepted Jesus as her personal living Savior in 1972. Margaret was a great cook, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and ballroom dancing. Her greatest joy was her time spent with family and friends. She is preceded in death by, her husband, her parents, her sister, Frances Jacobsen, her brother, Melvin Hanson and her son-in-law, Russell Massey. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Lynda Massey of Evansville, WI and Pamela (Dominic) Galati of Racine, WI. Three grandchildren, Brittany (Tom) Sparks, Dominic Galati III, and Dante (Dena) Galati and one great-granddaughter, Danae Galati, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son-in-law. Graveside services for family will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Glenville, MN.
