Lucille Ruth Homan of Janesville, WI passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Rock Haven Nursing Home at age 93. She was born in Janesville on July 14, 1930, the daughter of Carl and Ruth (Rehfield) Homan. As a baby, Lucille took second place in the 1934 Sears National Most Beautiful Baby contest. A life-long Janesville resident, she graduated from Janesville High School in 1948.
Lucille was employed in the accounting department of the Parker Pen Company for many years. Following retirement, she did payroll for C J Enterprises Driveaway, Inc.
Lucille was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was confirmed in 1944. Lucille will be remembered for her love of nature, crafting and spending the dog days of summer on the river.
Lucille Homan is survived by nieces and nephew; Cheryl (John) Langer, Janet (Todd) Lawrence, Nancy Lentz, David (Sandy) Homan, Steven Holcomb; three generations of great-nieces and great nephews; special friend, Toni Putzy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her long-time special friend Carol Thomas; brother Don Homan; sister-in-law Lorraine Homan; nephew Richard Lentz.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Funeral services will follow at 11 am. Wednesday, May 8th at the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Decker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice.
