Lisa Louise Dennis

January 19, 1968 — November 8, 2024

Lisa Louise Dennis, with family by her side, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Friday November 8th, 2024. Lisa, 56, was born January 19th, 1968. Her parents are Robert and Colleen Dennis of Janesville. Lisa struggled with diabetes which led to her blindness for most of her adult life.

She is a 1986 graduate of Evansville High School. While married to Darin Oliphant, she had their daughter Jaysie. Lisa, Darin and Jaysie lived abroad in Germany while Darin served in the military. Jaysie is currently living in Alaska. For a brief time, Lisa lived in Texas where she was involved with Therapeutic Equine (horses therapy) helping Veterans.

Prior to Lisa's blindness she enjoyed drawing, swimming and loved horses. She enjoyed decorating her "spaces" and liked crafting. In her youth she and her two sisters were involved with 4H fair projects at The Rock County 4H Fair in Janesville. The threesome also spent many happy times at Gibbs Lake, being silly-of course!

Lisa spent her later years living with her parents in Janesville. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Colleen Dennis, sisters, Tammy (Ben) Gildner, Evansville, Dawn (Miguel) Belemontes, Janesville, nephews, Scott, Shawn and Michael. Nieces, Jazmin and Fae. Uncles, Randy and Allen and Aunt Jane. As well, several great nephews and nieces. Lisa is also survived by four grandchildren.

Lisa was preceded in death by Grandparents, Clarence and Arlene Fankhauser and Floyd and Isabell Dennis. As well, a very special friend from many years ago, Little Benny.

A Celebration of Life will be held sometime late Spring or early Summer.
