Linda Lou Janecek

Linda Lou Janecek, age 55 of Janesville, WI passed away at her home on September 2, 2023. She was born in Madison, WI on March 29, 1968 and graduated from Madison East High School in 1986.

Linda married Scott Rake in 1991. She married Jeffery “JJ” Janecek on September 17, 2022. Linda’s life revolved around her family with her grandbabies being extremely special to her, as well as her church, Roxbury Church of Christ. Linda was always laughing and gave freely of herself for those in need.

Linda is survived by her husband, JJ Janecek; children, Corey (Shannon) Rake, Nicole (PJ) McConnell, Seth (Colene) Williams, Chris (Robyn) Rake; grandchildren, Anthony, Kaden, Tres, Isabella, Adam, Judah, Madelyn, River; her sister, Julie (Frank) Kelemen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marvel Freymiller Burgmeier and her sister, Cindy Gonzalez

Visitation will be held at ROXBURY CHURCH OF CHRIST, 2103 Roxbury Road, Janesville on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4 to 5 p.m. with funeral services to follow at the CHURCH at 5 p.m. Friday, September 8th. Pastor Jon Grice will officiate. Flowers are welcome, especially sunflowers, but her family would appreciate, should anyone who wishes to start a prayer chain for those suffering in silence in memory of Linda.
