Kevin William Hoops

Kevin William Hoops, 51, of Janesville passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. Kevin was born March 4, 1962 in Janesville, the son of Kenneth and Glenicee (Babcock) Hoops. He graduated from Parker High School in 1980. Over the years, Kevin worked numerous jobs until retiring due to disability as a sales and delivery person for Crown Rentals. More recently, he had been a delivery person for the Janesville Gazette. Kevin had been a member of a band and had a real love for music along with baseball where he was a longtime youth baseball coach. He had also been a 4-H leader and was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. On September 22, 2012, Kevin married Angela Marie Muller who survives along with 7 children, Tyler Hoops, Benjamin Hoops, Ariel Stefanczyk, Kristi May Hoops, Laura Lynn Tunks, M'Lyssa Jean Ann Sarandos, and Nikkole Lynna Monk; 6 grandchildren, Jayden Benjamin Hoops, Bryen Michael Hoops, Harper Lyn Tunks, Evilyn Adrion Tunks, Jack Hoops and Penelope Clara Sarandos; his parents, Kenneth and Glenicee Hoops, 2 brothers, Tim (Cindy) Hoops, Todd (Teena) Hoops all of Janesville, 1 sister, Tanya (Ron) Hoops of Beloit, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His grandparents preceded him in death. A time of remembrance for Kevin will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville.
