Joseph Mark Strunz

Joseph Mark Strunz, age 62 of Janesville, WI passed away on July 16, 2024 at his home following a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Janesville on February 6, 1962, the son of Richard and Donna (Richter) Strunz. He grew up in Janesville and graduated in 1980 from Parker High School. He married Julie Wiskia on June 8, 1985.

Joesph was formerly employed by Quality Wood Treating and in 1998 became a truck driver for S J & K Trucking continuing to work there until his health failed. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Julie Strunz; twin daughters, Emily (Steve) Deal and their children, Landon, Camden and Grayson; Monica (Evan) Albeck and their children Anderson and Palmer; sisters Lesa (Paul) Crawford and Lori (Tom) Watrous; in-laws, Janice and Jim Rickard, Jim and Monette Wiskia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Jeff (Anita) Wiskia, Jane (Lee) Kissner, Jodie (Ray) Clark, Betsy Reed; numerous other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donna and Richard Strunz.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Pastor Bond Haldeman will officiate. There is no visitation.
