John Erickson

John Bernard Erickson, age 59, of Janesville, WI passed away on February 22, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1964 in Madison, WI, the son of Bonney “Bud” and Janet (LaBrosse) Erickson. John moved with his family to Oregon, WI while he was in grade school and he graduated from Oregon High School in 1983.

John was employed by Edgewood College for many years where he was currently working as a computer technician.

John enjoyed computer gaming as well as walking and hiking. He found special joy spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include his domestic partner of 15 years, Tracey Runte; his daughter, Anne Erickson;  stepchildren, Ryan Harvey and Melita Harvey; siblings, Troy Erickson, Janette Hicks, Johnette Rigler, Oralee Erickson and Dale Erickson; grandchildren, Reese Ray, Atreyu Severson, Hunter Severson, Summer Harvey, Isabella Harvey, Fletcher Harvey and Malcolm Harvey. John was preceded in death by his mother, Janet, his father, Bonnie “Bud” and his step-father, Robert Hicks.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date, probably near the time of his birthday this year. Cremation rites are being accorded. The family is being assisted by HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Online condolences are welcome at www.henkeclarson.com.
