Jerome "Jerry" O'Meara

Jerome “Jerry” David O’Meara, age 78 of Janesville, WI passed away at his home on Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born in Janesville on December 9, 1945, the son of Ralph and Rozella (Kelly) O’Meara. He graduated from Janesville Senior High School in 1964 and served in the U. S. Marines from February 1966 to February 1968.

Jerry was a proud member of IBEW Local # 890 and worked as an electrician throughout the United States during his working career.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia (Cutburth) O’Meara in November of 2021. Following her passing he returned to Janesville to reside to be nearer his family.

Jerry is survived by his children; Shane O’Meara of Janesville; Heidi Cwik of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Jason O’ Meara and Cassandra Cwik; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Garcia; siblings, Ronald, James, Julie, Alan and John; other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, he was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marlene.
