Jeffrey E. Kraus, age 70, of Janesville, WI passed away at the Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care, Janesville on Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Marshfield, WI on April 20, 1954, the son of Edward and Emma (Hood) Kraus. Jeff grew up in Janesville and attended Marshall Junior High School and Craig High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1975 and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX.
Jeff married Wendy Cassity on April 14, 1973. He was employed by General Motors for 32 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton, U.A.W. #95 and Fort Atkinson American Legion Post #166.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and camping. He enjoyed being a fan of the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Above all else, Jeff loved the times he spent with family.
Jeff Kraus is survived by his loving wife, Wendy; daughter, Jody Kraus; son, Eric (Ronae) Kraus; grandchildren, Isaac Kraus, Jacob Larson, and Hannah Kraus; sister, Sherry Masters; brother, Ricky Kraus; and numerous other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Forsman and his brother, Lynn Kraus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at SAINT MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Milton. Father Pat Wendler will preside. Entombment with military rites by Kienow-Hilt V.F.W. Post #1621 will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 7th at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 North Wright Road, Janesville and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
