Jean Lois Krueger

Jean Lois Krueger of Janesville passed away at Milton Senior Living on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was 95 years old. Jean was born on December 28, 1929 in Janesville, the daughter of Wesley and Elizabeth (Diehls) Arndt.

A life-long Janesville resident, Jean married Roger M. Krueger on April 22, 1950. She was formerly employed by Woolworth’s Department Store, Pember Nuzum Clinic, Rock Title and Abstract and as a secretary at Craig High School. Jean prided herself on her home and never failed to put the house to bed every night. She enjoyed being a gracious hostess for many gatherings. Jean enjoyed traveling with Roger and later with her close friend Marilyn. She could hardly wait for spring to go flower shopping. Jean also enjoyed the years of playing Chicken-Foot with her “siblings”. She was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church.

Jean’s survivors include her son, Steven R. (Marlene) Krueger; sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Anderson; brothers, William (Janet) Arndt, Ronald (Barbara) Arndt; sister-in-law Karen Krueger; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Krueger on August 9, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Elizabeth Arndt; sisters, Beatrice Arndt, Dorothy Anderson and Karen Fawcett; brothers-n-law, Glenn Anderson, Kenneth Krueger, Kelly Anderson and Ronald Fawcett.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at CARGILL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH CHAPEL. Rev Stuart Allen will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19th. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery.
