Janice M. Koetz

Janice M. Koetz, 93, of Milton, WI passed away at her home Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born in Streator, IL on July 5, 1930, the daughter of Gerald and Alice (Jenkins) Blair. She was a graduate of Streator High School.

Janice married Arley W. Koetz on November 27, 1949 in Ransom, IL. She was a farm-wife and a homemaker. Janice enjoyed quilting and reading, as well as traveling with Arley. She knew the value in giving, and volunteered at the Gathering Place and Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church, where she was a member.

Janice is survived by 3 children; Karen (Russell) Krueger of Janesville, Kathy (Jay) Larson of Newark, IL, Gary (Karen) Koetz of Milton, WI; 6 grandchildren, Amy Jo Larson of Channahon, IL, Kristy (Rob) Robertson of Anamosa, IA, Jenny (Douglas) Reibel of Newark, IL, Amanda Larson of Reno, NV, Kelsey Lynn (Brad) Renz of Janesville, Gregory Allen Koetz of La Crosse, WI; 4 great-grandchildren, Dalton Douglas Reibel, Cole William Reibel, Ruby Adele Robertson, Simon Robert Robertson and one on the way; her sister, Joyce Hammack of Ottawa, IL; her brother, John (Charlotte) Blair of Ransom, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arley Koetz on November 12, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Kenneth Hammack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Rev. Dr. Bruce A. Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Johnstown Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st at the HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME.
