Geraldine D. Dallman

Geraldine D. Dallman, age 87, of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully at Oak Park Place on September 9, 2024. She was born in Edgerton on May 5, 1937, the daughter of Lawrence and Violet (Husen) Schmeling. After the family moved to Janesville, Geraldine attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church School. She graduated from Janesville Senior High School as a member of the first class to graduate from the new high school in 1956. While in high school, she worked at Dave’s Frost Top Drive Inn and car hopped on roller skates.


Geraldine married Richard J. Dallman on August 18, 1979. She was employed for a time by Rock Title and Abstract Company but was primarily a homemaker for most of her life. She was very active as a volunteer for Mercy Hospital working in the gift shop and with the Life-Line program. Geraldine was a member of First Lutheran Church.


Geraldine Dallman is survived by her husband, Richard Dallman; children, Greg (Christy) McWilliams of Frisco, TX, Gwen Mauritz of Janesville, and Ginger (Eric) McWilliams of Janesville; grandchildren, Lexie (Dylan) Heaslip, Austen (Destiny) Monday, Lucia (Neil) Mawad, Nicholas Mauritz, Mitchell Monday, Bronte McWilliams, Lauren Mauritz, and Isack Monday; great-grandchildren, Finn, Aiden, Rorie, Kurt, and Amari; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and several nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Donald and Kenneth.


A private visitation followed by a private funeral to be officiated by Rev. James Johnson will be held at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will be in the Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum.
