Gene R. Reisdorfer

Gene R. Reisdorfer of Janesville, WI passed away on November 27, 2024, at age 75. He was born October 5, 1949, in Wahpeton, Richland County, North Dakota, the son of Ralph and Mabel (Linck) Reisdorfer. He graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1967 and attended North Dakota State University of Science from 1976 to 1978, studying mechanical engineering and drafting. Gene was formerly employed by the Trane Company in La Crosse, WI.

Gene married his wife, Janice (Adrion) on September 3, 1988. They moved to Janesville in 1989. Gene was employed by Wand Corporation in Fort Atkinson and later as a mechanical draftsman by Bou Matic in Madison where he worked until he retired.

During his lifetime, Gene had a special love for motorcycling as well as camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards, watching TV and movies and going to rummage sales.

Gene is survived by his wife, Janice; stepdaughter, Kay (Arvid) Amundson and their sons, Kyle (Emily) and Samuel (Mandy) Amundson; great-grandsons, Spencer and Winston; great-granddaughter, Adelyn; sisters, Gloria Reisdorfer, Judy (Bill) Krump, Lois (Sarge) Krump, Carol (Dale) Anderson; He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathleen Wilkinson.

Private family services and entombment will be at a future date at Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
