Ethel J. Beinema

Ethel Jean Beinema of Janesville, WI passed away at Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at age 92. She was born on October 1, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Lyke) Hoffman. She graduated in 1951 from Janesville High School.

Ethel married James F. Beinema on July 19,1975. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2011. Ethel was formerly employed by Gibbs Manufacturing, Regal Beloit Corporation and retired from SSI Technologies. She and her husband, James, also farmed in LaPrairie Township. Ethel attended Shopiere Methodist Church and after it closed attended Shopiere Congregational Church.

Ethel is survived by her children, Alan (Diane) Craig, Kay (Howard) Craig-Parke, Spider “Lowell” (Lorie) Craig, Alvin (Lisa) Revels, Stephen (Jackie) Revels, David (Leslie) Revels, Dawn (Kevin) Revels-Updike, and Michael (Jennifer) Revels; grandchildren, Lorelle Craig, Brett and Marquis Parke, Steven Craig, Melissa Gallagher, Garrett Revels, Leroy, Jonathan and Dustyn Carroll, Grant and Olivia Revels, Chelsey Revels, Zach Michaels, Mack Straight, Cameron Straight, Kennedy Straight, Trent Nimmo, Alec Revels and Zack Revels; great grandchildren, Craig, Jayden, Ella, Walker and Blaklyn; and a sister, Eloise Whitehead.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Henry and Warren Hoffman; and sisters, Barbara Hauri and Cynthia Wyss.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2024, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Rev. James Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. November 15th at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin or the LaPraire Township 4-H Club.
