Dorothy M. Dunn

JANESVILLE - Dorothy Marie Dunn, 96 of Janesville, WI passed away at her home on Sunday April 28, 2024. She was born in La Grange, IL on August 16, 1927, the only child of Gustaf and Charlotte (Eisenhaur) Norrell. She grew up in La Grange and graduated from Lyons Township High School.

Dorothy met Roland E. Dunn while they both were employed at the General Motors plant in Mc Cook, Il. They were married on August 10, 1948. Dorothy was employed by First National Bank of Chicago and later at First National Bank of La Grange.

Dorothy will be remembered as a people person and was always well loved by those she came in contact with in the various jobs she held during her lifetime. She was employed by the Purple Heart Veterans Organization. Though the years, she was a representative for Avon, Watkins, Better Living and Amway. She has resided in Janesville since 2000.

Survivors include her children; Lori (Gary) Marschke, Larry (Meagan) Dunn, Linda (Mike) Blanchard; grandchildren, Christine (Tom) Boras, Janssen Dunn, Keaten Dunn, Trisha (Jacob) Johnson, Krista Blanchard, Brianna (Devin) White, Auston Blanchard; seven great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Dunn on January 23, 2008. Her parents also preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH, Janesville with visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services on May 8th.
