Donna Lee Verch

Donna Lee Verch of Janesville passed away surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was 83 years old. She was born April 27, 1940 in Mauston WI the daughter of Norman and Beatrice (Moore) Watts. She grew up in Janesville and graduated from Janesville High School in 1959.

Donna married Stephen Norling on March 25, 1960. Four children, Bret, Lance, Grant and Wendy were born of this marriage. After Donna and Stephen divorced Donna married Donald Verch in 1988.

Donna was a homemaker and was also employed as a machine operator by Panoramic Corporation for many years.

Her Christian religion was always important in Donna’s life and she attend Orchard View Alliance Church for many years. She also enjoyed reading books and doing puzzles. She had a special love for her cats thru the years.

Donna is survived by her children; Bret Norling, Lance Norling, Grant (Amber) Norling, Wendy (Joe) Koeberl; special nieces and nephew; Diana Hamre, Rena (Gregg) Kerr, Roger (Cindi) Verch; grandchildren, Zachary Norling, Nichole (James) Westerman, Derek Heisz, Sean Heisz, Mary Heisz; three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Donald Verch in 2000 and Stephen Norling in 2021 She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; Norma Watts and Ruth Verch; a special nephew Donald Verch and a nephew in law Gary Hamre.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 27,2024 at WESTSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH., 3227 West County Road A, Janesville. Pastor Andrew Hudson will officiate. Visitation will be at the Church on Saturday January 27th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. A luncheon and time to meet family will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
