Donald D. Morris

Donald Dean Morris, age 85 of Elkhorn, WI, a former Janesville, WI resident passed away at Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn on March 2, 2024. He was born at Mercy Hospital, Janesville on January 29, 1939, the son of Clyde Taylor Morris and Isabel (Ovitz) Morris. He graduated from Janesville High School and attended Milton College and UW-Whitewater. Donld served in the U.S. Army for four years.

Donald married his wife, Carol on August 1, 1964, at Tabor Lutheran Church, Rockford, IL. They were married for 45 years prior to divorcing in 2009. Donald was a master plumber (retired) and was formerly employed by King Plumbing and Solofra Plumbing in Burlington, WI.

Donald was baptized at Cargill United Methodist Church, Janesville and confirmed at Cross Lutheran Church, Burlington, WI. He was active with the Badger State Vettes, Harley Owners Group, Burlington Car Club and the National Council of Corvette Clubs.

Donald’s surviving relatives include: son, Richard (Diana) Morris and children Kaylee and Emily Morris; son, Ronald (Karen) Morris and their children Brett, Brian, Bryce and Brianna; former spouse, Carol Morris; brother, Richard W. (Terry) Morris; and nieces, Karin Morris and Julia Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde T. Morris and Isabel Ovitz Morris.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, in the MILTON LAWNS MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 2200 Milton Ave., Janesville.
