Don C. Terrell

Don C. Terrell of Janesville, died Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Agrace Hospice Center in Janesville. He was born on August 5, 1937, in Roland Arkansas, the son of Claude C. and Ruth (McGhee) Terrell. He grew up in San Francisco and Perry Arkansas. He served in the US Army as an MP January 27, 1955 - January 3, 1960 stationed in Dahn Germany. Don was employed as a Janesville Police Officer until his retirement. He was a former scuba instructor, scout master, member of the Janesville Masonic Center, VFW, and Moose Lodge. Don loved to travel, he never passed up an opportunity to head west or to Germany. One of the biggest joys in his life was spending time with his family and friends. Don never met anyone who didn't instantly become a friend for life.  Don is survived by his wife Terry of 37.5 years, they have 2 children; Christopher (Cara) and their children Everett, Anders, and Boden. Daughter Brittany (Jon) and their children Sawyer, Sophia and Emmy. Don is also survived by his son Allan with former wife Rosewitha of Dahn Germany; and his children with former wife Yvonne; Son Michael and his children Michael and A.J; Daughters, Jeannine (David) Alwin; Dena (Tim) Good and their children Elyse and Matthew Gondreau, Timothy, Joshua and Jalayne. Don is also survived by many great grandchildren; his brother Jerry of Illinois; many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Renee Kauffman. A heartfelt thank you to the Janesville Agrace Hospice staff for their care and concern for Don and his family; and to Bonnie and his mother-in-law Diane for their help caring for Don at home the last 4 months. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, Janesville. MASKS ARE SUGGESTED. Private funeral services will be held. Entombment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum where military honors will be accorded.
