Dennis L. Stone

Dennis L. Stone, age 82 of Janesville, WI passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. He was born in Janesville on February 26, 1941, the son of Cecil and Lela (Hinzman) Stone. He grew up west of Janesville where he attended rural grade school and graduated from Janesville Senior High School in 1959.

Dennis married Joyce A. Feirn on May 5, 1962. He was employed by Bee Line Alignment, Janesville and later employed at General Motors in Janesville for 30 years prior to retiring.

Dennis and Joyce were members of the Wisconsin Voyagers RV Club and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with their RV. They also enjoyed wintering in Queen Valley, AZ for 21 years. Dennis was a member of First Lutheran Church and U.A.W. Local # 95.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Stone; two children, Bradley (Lisa) Stone of Fort Wayne, IN, Brenda (Roy) Fernandes of Portland, OR; three grandchildren, Sarina Stone, Dakota Stone and Samantha Fernandes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Jean Finster.

A visitation for Dennis will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 612 N. Randall Avenue Janesville. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25th at the CHURCH. Pastor Michael Mueller will officiate. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum.
