David H. Wickingson

David H. Wickingson, age 86, formerly of Janesville who resided at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville since 2019, passed away on April 26, 2023, at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center.

David was born on April 9, 1937, in Whitewater, Wis., the son of Harley and Margaret (Haunch) Wickingson. He grew up in Johnstown and attended Whitewater High School.

David was formerly employed by American Motors in Kenosha and Jamesway Butler in Fort Atkinson.

David was well known in Janesville for riding his bicycle around town. He enjoyed playing euchre at the American Legion and the Janesville Senior Center. While residing in Janesville, David attended Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his two brothers; Karl (Geri) Wickingson and Roger (Madonna) Wickingson; his sister, Jeanne Ludeman; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Ludeman.

Private graveside services and interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Palmyra, Wis.
