Darlene J. Rasmussen

Darlene Jean Rasmussen, age 72, of Janesville passed away at her home on February 3, 2024. She was born in Rhinelander, WI on November 8, 1951, the daughter of Albert R. and Vivian P (Turner) Gallagher. She married Earl Rasmussen on December 2, 1967.

Darlene was employed as a caregiver and housekeeper for many years with most of that time spent working at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, WI. She moved to Janesville in 2004 following the death of her husband, Earl, to be closer to her son Kevin and family.

Darlene is survived by her three sons; Brian (Susen), Kevin (Jamie), Chad (Jessica); her grandchildren, Atley, Jayden, Rylee, Josephine, Ethan, Lilliana; her siblings; Dora Lynne Aliifua, Marlene Gray, Pat Gallagher, Jerry Cholewinski, John Gallagher, Tim Becker, Donna Zabawa, Kirk Cholewinski; step-brothers, Frank and William Becker.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Darlene’s life. Interment will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Lake Geneva, WI. The Rasmussen family is being assisted by HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences may be sent to www.henkeclarson.com.
