Dale Ernest Lundstrom

Dale Ernest Lundstrom, age 91, a long-time Duluth, MN resident passed away at Oak Park Place, Janesville, WI on November 26, 2023. He was born in Duluth on April 24, 1932, the son of Ernest Jaran and Jennie Sophie (Larson) Lundstrom. He grew up in Duluth and served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict.

Dale danced with the Arthur Murray Dance Group in New York and was a ballroom dance instructor into his eighties. During his lifetime, Dale also did window displays for Dayton’s Department Store in Minneapolis, MN and when the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA opened he was employed as a tollgate operator.

Dale will be remembered as a world traveler. In retirement he wintered in Yuma, AZ. As his health failed, he moved to Janesville to be near cousins who could assist him with his care needs.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; sister Jean Marie; brother Dennis Jaranas well as cousins to whom he was especially close, Donald and Dianne Lundstrom.

Per Dale’s request no services will be held. He would rather you have a dance.
