Dale Carlson

Dale Victor Allen Carlson, age 86, of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully at his home on November 3,2023. He was born July 24,1937 in Menomonee, MI, the son of Andrew and Evelyn (Webeck) Carlson. He married Patricia Sellhausen on June 12, 1959. She preceded him in death on September 17, 2014.

Dale was a proud veteran of the U. S Navy and served during the Korean War. He worked as a construction laborer and was employed by Miron Construction Company for many years. He was proud of his membership in Labor’s Union # 268 as well as his membership in the Oxford, WI V.F.W. Post # 6003.

Dale is survived by his children; Rose Dallman, Wayne Carlson, Terry Watson; grandchildren, DuWayne (Tina) Dallman, Victoria Matrick, Dale (Cassandra ) Matrick, Tonya Dallman, Michael Carlson, Jonathan Carlson, Cody (Katie) Carlson; great-grandchildren, Dakota (Miranda), Bradley, Austin and Carson Dallman, Billy Matrick, Brian Eggleston, William, Zarcona, Dominik, Yohan, Nikoli and Josiah Matrick, Dallman, Jaylah and Evelyn Carlson; the apple of Dale’s eye, great granddaughter Makenzie Dallman and great-great grandson, Andrew; his twin sister, Gale Fodi; brother, John (Cheryl) Pasko. In addition to his wife, Patricia, Dale was preceded in death by his children, Dale Carlson and Caroline Carlson.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville with services to follow at 3 p.m. Friday at the FUNERAL HOME. Rev. Daniel Decker will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by Kienow-Hilt V.F.W. Post # 1621.
