Chris Schaaf

Christian E. “Chris” Schaaf, age 89 of Milton, WI passed away on December 21, 2024 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Janesville. He was born on March 8, 1935, in Mott, ND, the son of Christian and Bertha (Berger) Schaaf.

Chris married Agnes Fix in October of 1956 and later married Jane DiVall in June of 1983. She preceded him in death in 2014. He was employed by General Motors for over 40 years. Chris was an old car hobbyist who was especially proud of the 1947 Ford coupe he restored and used to take his son to school in. He also restored a 1947 Mercury convertible from the ground up. In addition to his love of old cars, his second love was dancing.

Survivors include his son, Charlie (Carol) Schaaf; his daughter Mary (Jim) Orley; his grandson, Spencer Orley.
