Charles Thomas Jensen

Charles T. “Tom” Jensen, age 89 of Janesville, WI passed away at his home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born on November 27, 1935, the son of Charles Floyd Jensen and Marcia Jane (Rowe) Jensen. As a youngster, Tom always had a love for farming and lived on the family farm near Libertyville, IL. He graduated from Libertyville High School in 1955 where he played basketball and football. Tom served for a time in the U. S. Army Reserves and later in the U. S. Air Force Reserves.

Tom married Nancy Ann Towner in 1963. They had one daughter, Linda Marie Jensen who passed away at age 10. Following graduation, Tom began farming in the Libertyville area and later moved to Wisconsin where he farmed near Afton, WI. for many years. He also worked at General Motors in Janesville for over 11 years. After retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Jensen moved to Janesville in 1996 where he enjoyed taking care of his property. Tom also enjoyed traveling to Branson, MO, listening to country music and many dinners at the Texas Roadhouse.

Charles “Tom” Jensen is survived by his wife, Nancy Jensen as well as six nieces and nephews and several loving neighbors. In addition to his daughter, Linda Marie and his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey Jensen and Clifford Jensen.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Rev. Dr. Bruce A. Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. Monday until the time of services at the HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, IL.
