Charlene Marie Brown

Charlene Marie Brown, age 72 of Janesville, WI passed away on January 16, 2022 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on November 27, 1949 in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of Phillip and Barbara (Jones) Minarick. She grew up in Delavan, attended St. Andrew’s School and graduated from Delavan-Darien High School. Charlene married William G. Brown on March 21, 1968. She was formerly employed as a CNA at Caravilla Nursing Home. She and her husband have owned and operated Brown’s Antiques in South Beloit, IL for many years. She was an avid antiquary, gardener and loved to go fishing in Northern Wisconsin in the summer months. Charlene Brown is survived by her husband, William Brown; children, Michael (John Marin) Brown of Palm Desert, CA, Clover (Kevin) Knaus of Janesville; sister, Ellen (William) Ludtke.
