Brian D. Ahlert

March 4, 1970 — August 16, 2020

Brian Dennis Ahlert, age 50, of Janesville passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was born March 4, 1970 in Clinton, WI, the son of Dennis and Kathy (Kellar) Ahlert. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School. Brian married Jennifer Marie Bluhm on May 17, 1997. He was employed at the Chrysler plant in Belvidere, IL for the past 23 years and was a member of UAW Local # 12.  Brian was always there to help anyone in need of assistance. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed playing horseshoes with his father and the retired General Motors employees. He was a member of a fishing club with his co-workers and above all else he enjoyed anything involved in motorcycling.  Brian Ahlert is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ahlert; two children, Trevor (Ashten) Ahlert of Jacksonville, NC and Karrigan Ahlert of Toledo, OH; his granddaughter, Hadley Larson of Toledo, OH; his parents, Dennis (Bonnie) Ahlert of Janesville, and Kathy Kellar of Pendleton, IN; his sister, Kristy (Bob) Helmer of Pendleton, IN; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.  A time to celebrate and honor Brian’s life will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N.
