Beverly A. Christianson

Beverly Ann Christianson, age 94, a former Janesville resident passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Swift Haven in Edgerton, WI where she had made her home for the past several years. Beverly was born in Readstown, WI on September 12, 1929, the daughter of Jasper Carl Henthorne and Norma (York) Henthorne.

Beverly was the eldest of nine siblings of whom she enjoyed spending time with, especially their gambling trips. She also enjoyed gardening and canning, bowling in her younger years and visiting her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Beverly also found time to sell Avon, of which she won many sales awards throughout the years.

Beverly is survived by her granddaughter, Katie Rohde (Steve); her daughter-in-law Deb McClellan; sisters, Carla Baez, Delores Inge (Barry), and Shirley Ryan, Marilyn Soule; brother, Jerry Henthorne (Joanne); and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her stepsons, Kim Christianson (Marie), Mark Christianson (Kay) and John Christianson (Pam); stepdaughter, Linda Skoien (Linda Frederick) and their children.

Beverly was preceded in death by her son, David McClellan; husband, Melvin Christianson; parents, Jasper and Norma Henthorne; brother, Myron “Bub” Henthorne; and sisters, Bonnie Zepke and Patti Lean.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, July 29th from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
