Betty J. Lockart

JANESVILLE - Betty Lockart of Janesville, passed into eternity on February 1, 2022. Betty was 97, and almost made it to 98. She was married April 26, 1947, to Leslie Lockart. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1978. Betty was a member of Roxbury Church of Christ, where she was an active member, until her illness. She began volunteering at Mercy Hospital after her husband’s death, logging 1,000’s of hours in many capacities. Betty was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Betty’s family includes her two daughters, Renee (Karl) Dommershausen of Janesville, and Nancy (David) Wehling of Racine; three grandchildren, Dawn (Ben) Corda, Adam Wehling, and Sara Merten; great-grandchildren, Andrew Moldenhauer, Nicholas Moldenhauer, Samuel Moldenhauer, Chase Merten, and James Wehling. Betty’s only sibling, Maxine Scott preceded her in death. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home of Janesville is assisting the family.
