Betty Coleman

MILTON - Elizabeth “Betty” D. Coleman, 95 of Milton, WI passed away at Milton Senior Living on Sunday May 5, 2024. She was born on November 19, 1928, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Charles and Winifred (Meyers) Corning. She attended schools in Rockton, IL and Minneapolis, MN.

Betty married Roger Coleman on January 24, 1974. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1992. She was employed by OC Electronics in Milton until retiring in December of 1981. Betty was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Milton. Betty enjoyed volunteering at her church. She was an avid bowler and Packer fan. She crocheted many baby blankets for family and friends.

Betty is survived by a brother, Gordon Corning; nieces and nephews; special friends, Carrie and Lois Turk; good friends Mike and Mary Antony. In addition to her husband and her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother Charles “Bud” Corning Jr. and sister-in-law Marilyn Corning.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday May 13, 2024, at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 335 Dairyland Dr., Milton, with Pastor John Swanson officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, May 13th. Interment will follow the service at the Milton Cemetery.
