JANESVILLE - Arland L. “Al” Nordin, age 77, of Janesville, Wis., died on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. He was born on May 11, 1944 in Viroqua, Wis., the son of Herman and Selma (Brudos) Nordin. He was a U. S. Navy veteran. Al married Judith Hammond in 1968. He married Karen (Pogorelski) Schultz on April 3, 1982. He was self-employed as a painting contractor for many years. He was a member of the Creston Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Al Nordin is survived by his wife, Karen; one son, Michael (Rebecca) Nordin; grandson, Jace Nordin and his children, Matthew and Dorian; granddaughter, Alyssa (David) Harms and their children, Renee and Aden; brother, Clarence (Ann) Nordin; and a sister, Avanelle (Gerald-deceased) Genz. Al was a real believer in the hope that is held out in Revelations Chapter 21, verses 3 and 4, “A time of no more death”. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 North Wright Road, Janesville. A memorial talk will be held at a later date.
